Depending on the operating conditions, we recommend seals made of synthetic fibres, elastomers, expanded PTFE, restructured PTFE, graphite based or other materials with FDA, WRAS, BAM, BS 7531, TA Luft, CE 1935, FireSafe and 3-A certifications, among others.

For screws:
Hygienic Usit® rubber-metal seal on threaded connections. This is a flat metal seal with an elastomer sealing lip, either inside (U) or outside (UA). It is used to seal threaded joints.
It is available in NBR and FPM with steel, and on request in stainless steel. FDA certification according to the materials.
