Vibration isolation: Cylindrical supports
The most commonly used elements for vibration isolation are cylindrical housings and diabolos, cylindrical stops and conical stops.
They consist of a rubber cylinder and two end plates with threaded ends: stud-type fasteners on both sides, female-threaded fasteners on both sides or a combination of both. There are versions without a fixing at one end, so that they can be used as machine feet or as a progressive impact stop.
They are used in small machines such as laboratory equipment, fans, air-conditioning equipment, compressors, pumps, etc.
